Our night in the hospital

So Brad loves to play basketball and the other night he thought he broke his hand which sent us to the hospital. Turns out its just a sprain ;however the flu was going around so i ended up in a silly mask lol.

Knoxville Bridal Shower

So my amazing sister Ashley threw me a wedding shower in Knoxville and the women here in my life showered me with gifts and love. It was a blast! More pictures to come!!! I'm so excited for my Gallatin shower on the 26th of March. I cant wait to see all the women from my past and share with them my future!

My Moms Visit to knoxville

So my mom came to Knoxville for my shower and stayed all weekend with me. If you know my mom you know how interesting that can be. However it was nice to have my family in my home even if it were just for the weekend.

When the Lights Go Out!!

So we had a very interesting week. The electric meter for our apartment broke and the KUB had to order us a new one from out of state. So we were with out power for a night and i was really fun. Remember when you were little how exciting is was when the power went out. Well we tried to recapture this idea and make the best out of everything so we read stories, played hide and seek in the dark and sang songs. It was a blast but we are so glad that the power is back on!!!

 

So I have been inspired by my sweet friend Jessica Willis to try my hand at crafts! So this is my first attempt was something simple and themed, a heart shaped love note garland!! It became a really sweet night for me and Brad, just sitting on the bed cutting out paper hearts and writing love notes to one another. All the red ones are his and all the pink ones are mine. We sprinkled in some music ones for flare. However the funniest thing was all my friends deep concern for my two sheets of music,but i promise you that only very limited musical talent was spared in this craft endeavor.

For me reading all my sweet Husband to Be's whispers of love reminded me of how blessed I am to have him in my life. His soul is really one of love and joy. He is always smiling and laughing. Even on my worse day he is always right there to comfort and uplift me. He treats me like a queen and I'm so excited to marry him!!!

This is my something old. They are a Taylor family heirloom. My sweet Grandma Glenna to be had them. I'm so excited!!!!

     So today we had a great day with Brads mom Mona!! we picked out an amazing wedding cake. Its going to Lemon. But not just lemon but the most amazing lemon in the whole world. Its going to be off set squares with black designs and ribbon and fresh red roses all over. the one above doesn't even come close to how beautiful it will be. Brads grooms cake is going to be a kick back to his favorite team the tar heels!!! We are getting so excited. Life is going to change so much for us in the next few months please keep us in your prayers as we are trying so hard to get things together. It can be very stressful.
